A very nice Victorian cake knife with bright cut work to blade and a really fine mother of pearl handle with ridge carving with ornate ferrule and end cap. The cap bears a design registration mark equating to 1883. Made by William Briggs and Co of Sheffield.

A really fine looking cake knife with a silver plated blade and sterling silver ferrule and end cap hallmarked for Sheffield 1888. The end cap has a rams head design to each side and the ferrule has a band of rams heads.
