Our Reference #: 60264
An empty oak veneered chest with side handles and vacant brass shield to lid, the interior arranged over 3 layers. Made by J.H. Potter of Sheffield c. 1910.
Condition: The lid has a hook shaped shallow gouge below the shield. Slight cosmetic crack to middle of lid. The right hand side of lid has some historic worm damage along its top edge, worm long gone obviously. Interior pretty good and still makes a nice cutlery chest anyway, or you could strip it down and line it to make a large jewellery / collectables box etc.
