Well this is certainly a talking point! A very unusual and interesting spoon with an acorn cup shaped bowl with pierced hole to bottom, the ornate handle pattern also incorporating an acorn. You can pickle acorns, so possibly for pickled acorns! It has flummoxed us anyway. 800 silver standard, unknown origin.
Condition: Overall good with some surface marks and slight copper draw mainly to the rear side (800 silver contains c. 20% copper). Makers marks are not too clear.
